I have always been an imaginative person; making up stories and games, playing in an imagined world.
When I was about four years old, I asked my mother what a “prime directive” was. She replied: “It is what you want to do with your life.” She then asked if I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I replied: “I want to play, play, play!”
In May of 2015, I graduated from the University of New Mexico and received my BFA in film and digital media and a BA in studio arts. My art focuses on exploring the complicated relationship between nature, humans, and technology. What impact does one have over the other?
My ultimate prime directive is to continue “playing” by using my imagination and creating works which communicate and connect to others. Creating is my play and my work.
